Welcome

The world is full of war, hate, and poverty; but also peace, love, and wealth. Kate’s Casa was created to make these worlds collide.

Our Core Missions

Support for New Arrivals

Kate’s Casa prioritizes aid for families and individuals who have recently arrived, ensuring they receive the necessary support to integrate successfully into the community.

Empowering Single Mothers

We provide targeted programs to assist single mothers, helping them to secure employment, access educational opportunities, and obtain essential services for their families.

Aiding Unaccompanied Minors

Focused attention is given to unaccompanied minors, offering them a safe environment and the resources needed to foster their growth, education, and well-being.

Building Cross-Cultural Partnerships

By fostering strong cross-cultural relationships, Kate’s Casa enhances the social fabric of our community, promoting understanding and cooperation among all residents.

How We Do It

Immigrant led Non-Profit

Kate’s Casa proudly holds a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, underscoring our commitment as a legitimate nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting immigrant families in our community. Immigrant-led and powered by dedicated immigrant mothers, we ensure comprehensive support and guidance for our community.

Partnerships

At the heart of our mission is the creation and strengthening of cross-cultural partnerships. These collaborations are essential in building a supportive, inclusive environment for all community members. We provide comprehensive, hands-on support to immigrant families in every aspect of their lives and are a trusted resource within the immigrant community.

Community Commitment

We are dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by immigrants, focusing on basic needs, legal aid, educational support, and healthcare access to empower individuals and foster community solidarity. We have established a community hub where donations can be collected and distributed to families in need.

Essential Items

Our short term primary goal is to provide ongoing assistance to a minimum of 100 families each month (locally and in Guatemala), offering essential items such as clothing, shoes, diapers, food, furniture, etc.

Housing & Education

Our mid term secondary goals include supporting 3-5 individuals in launching small businesses, assisting 3-5 families in securing housing and granting scholarships to 3-5 English Learner High School graduates.

Comprehensive Programs

Our long term third goal is to secure a versatile multi-use building, enabling us to run comprehensive programs, more space to store donations, provide apartments for families in need, and create space for small businesses to thrive.
